Bunmi Ishola

Bunmi Ishola is a Senior Editor at WaterBrook Children's, an imprint of Random House that focuses on publishing books that help kids discover the abundance, joy, and adventure to be found in living out biblical values and virtues. She acquires fiction and nonfiction titles for readers ages 0 to 18, but has a special soft spot for middle grade. Before becoming an editor, Bunmi survived seven years as a middle school teacher, and also had short stints working as a journalist, bookseller, high school yearbook photographer, and childcare worker. Born in Texas and raised in Nigeria, Bunmi currently lives in Los Angeles, California. Bunmi is taking both in-person and online editor appointments.
