One of the ways WCCW serves writers is by hosting three mini masterclasses per year, covering writing and publishing topics. For each live, one-hour webinar, we bring in an expert to speak on the subject. Mini masterclasses are hosted live on Zoom and recorded for viewing afterward. Members receive a code to register for free; non-members may register at the low price of $14.

Sherry Chidwick travels and writes—in that order—as a midlife global nomad who has broken up with the American Dream and embraced the motto Less stuff, more stories. Sherry’s sweet spot is the long-form narrative essay, and she has had several non-fiction short stories published. After cutting her teeth as an OG blogger from way back, she moved to Substack two years ago, and writes a weekly post there on topics related to her travels and faith. Sherry and her husband both savor long walks, art and history museums, and international street food.
