WCCW is a writers conference with a reputation for high-value teaching, expert speakers and mentors, hands-on help, a welcoming atmosphere, and innovation. Our faculty members are industry professionals – agents, editors, authors, and marketing and business experts – chosen to represent a variety of publishing methods, genres, interests, and ethnicities.

KATHI LIPP, KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Kathi Lipp is a Publisher’s Weekly bestselling author of twenty books, including An Abundant Place: Daily Retreats for the Woman Who Can’t Get Away, Overwhelmed, and Clutter Free. Along with being a part of the InCourage at Dayspring writing team, she is the host of Clutter Free Academy the Podcast! with Kathi Lipp, Facebook group Clutter Free Academy, and Clutter Free for Life.
As a writing and marketing coach, she is also the host of the Writing at the Red House Podcast and runs both The Writing at the Red House Retreats and The Red House Writers Collective – a writing program that helps authors develop their writing, their platform, and their business.
Kathi lives on her Red House mini-homestead with her husband Roger, her nine-pound dog Moose, and a gang of chickens.
GINNY L. YTTRUP, KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Ginny L. Yttrup is the author of seven novels, including Words, which won the Christy Award for Best First Novel and was a Christy finalist for Best Contemporary Standalone. Her novels have received the honor of Book of the Year from Foreword Reviews and RT Book Reviews.
A developmental editor and coach, Ginny is the founder of Words for Writers, which offers inspiration and instruction for writers and includes the course Your Novel: From Premise to Published, the Fiction Crafters Cohort, and the Words for Writers podcast. She also serves as conference director for West Coast Christian Writers.
Ginny is passionate about encouraging readers and writers toward emotional and spiritual growth. She is fueled by black coffee, good books, relationships with her adult children and circle of friends, and her love for Henry Higgins, the dog who rules her world.
